This is an official announcement of Google Docs to WordPress, our new Google Drive app. The app transfers Google documents into WordPress with one click, while automatically adjusting the images and formatting in order to fit with your blog’s graphic theme.

The field of content writing seems to experiencing something of a golden age. The world is discovering the power that lies within the ability to constantly create new quality content. This, however, is no easy task. Content writing usually requires an intricate collaboration between contributors, writers, reviewers and others. Establishing an efficient workflow is key to overcoming these challenges.

Last week’s NYC AWS summit was yet another success for the cloud giant. Just shy of the impressive turnout at re:Invent 2013 in Las Vegas, last week’s summit had so many attendees, they ran out of badges! As always, the lectures were great, however, we weren’t told anything new. Despite the ever-growing awareness of AWS cloud, Werner has been pitching the same “old” messages for years. Security issues, price reductions, fast deployment, and scalability were introduced in a much more organic way three years ago, and this year’s summit proved that these concepts have been fully internalized by AWS users. Continuing to promote the seemingly never ending list of cloud features, Werner is a true evangelist and cloud celebrity who attracts crowds of thousands when he speaks.

Over the years, I have become very familiar with the AWS cloud, as well as the startups that were utilizing the cloud from the get-go. Through this experience, I was able to witness how the market matured, and eventually see those very same startups flourish into the strong companies they are today. I am proud to announce that IOD has since expanded into a great team of professionals who leverage their knowledge to help the AWS ecosystem tell their stories. Today, we are working with dozens of companies and are proving to be the leaders in sourcing the knowledge that this fast growing ecosystem has to offer, making sure to evangelize the cloud and support an amazing movement within the technology world.

According to IDC’s prediction, 7 million new cloud related IT jobs will be created by 2015. As cloud is still evolving, there is an overall lack of knowledge, skills and experience in the IT industry. This is intensified by the fact that new cloud features and innovations are introduced weekly by cloud service vendors, especially by the AWS cloud guys. The constant expansion of the cloud world is causing this knowledge gap to constantly increase.
