Wrapping Up 2023: Tech Sector on the Mend, IOD for Enterprise, and the GenAI Revolution

The year 2023 got off to a slow start, with the market still recovering from COVID and a worldwide recession. As the year progressed, however, things picked up again: Not only is the tech sector now showing signs of recovery; it’s beginning to thrive once again.

By November, the industry had reached revenues of $2 trillion and earnings of $279.2 billion. While the cloud sector too was sluggish in early 2023, the cloud market showed a steady increase throughout the year, with the Big 3 generating almost $56 billion in revenue in Q3.

In following with this pattern, at IOD, we saw an uptick in work as the year progressed, with more and more tech brands reaching out to us to help them tackle their tech content challenges head-on.

In addition to high-growth startups, IOD serves the largest tech vendors including Microsoft, Check Point, NetApp, Zoho, and many more.

In 2023, we continued to strengthen relationships with our existing clients, adapting to their budgets and content needs, and also formed new partnerships. As we expanded and customized the IOD enterprise offering, it was a year of fruitful collaboration with tech market leaders in the cloud and cyber enterprises in particular. While we still can’t mention company names, watch out for our upcoming client case studies.

In 2023, IOD worked on over 1,200 expert-based tech marketing assets—white papers, blog posts, video, and more—conducted deep tech content strategy research, and provided design services for some of the world’s leading tech brands. We also launched our new influencer marketing program (still in beta).

In the coming year and beyond, we will continue to support our clients through deep tech content that drives results.

GenAI Blog Series for the Tech Marketer 

GenAI was a hot topic in 2023, and many have questioned how it would affect content marketing and whether agencies like IOD would remain relevant. Yet according to ML Insider, only 10% have actually adopted the use of GenAI tools; and from our conversations with clients and tech marketers, we have seen that many are still unsure about whether or how to incorporate these tools into their workflows. 

To this end, over the last few months, our team of tech writers together with IOD CEO Ofir Nachmani released the “Practical Tips for Using GenAI” series. The goal of this series is to answer these many questions and to help our community of tech marketers hone their skills:
